for Covenant Members who feel called to minister to students
and who are interested in committing to at least a year of
serving alongside us.
FIREHOUSE LEADERSHIP
High Five Team
Position Description: This position is for someone who is hospitable and loves to welcome students and get
them connected, as well as chaperone events.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Extra Mile Team
 Position Description: This position is for someone who doesn't mind doing the unnoticeable, yet important things.
This team thanks our first-time guests by dropping a Firehouse welcome gift by their house to welcome them when they get home from
Wednesday night Firehouse service
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Up-Down Crew
Position Description: This team sets up and tears down stage and chairs and gets extra chairs for students when needed.
They also make sure outside tables near the basketball court on the patio get set up and taken in. This team uses the act of service for the Gospel.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Media Team
Position Description: This team is responsible for running all of our media needs, such as lights, videos, song words, and sound.
No experience necessary ... we offer training.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Chow Team
Position Description: This team is responsible for running the cafe on Wednesday nights, selling pizza, drinks and candy.
This team works with the Up-Down Crew to make sure tables are set up and put away on the patio.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Attendance Team
Position Description: This team is responsible for setting up the attendance tables, welcoming students as the sign in,
and directing visitors to the High Five and Extra Mile teams.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Activities Team
 Position Description: This team is responsible for planning and running an ice-breaker game at the beginning
of each service, and an organized sport or game after services.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
Prayer Team
Position Description: This team lifts up the students in prayer throughout the week and during the service. Our hope is
that all leaders would be doing this, but this team specifically sits in the loft without distractions, with the sole purpose
of prayer. This team also leads a prayer time with all of the teams to pray over the night's service before it starts each
Wednesday. They also organize counselors for invitation times.
Time Required: 3 hours per week, every Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
SMALL GROUP LEADERSHIP
Group Leader
Position Description: These leaders are the hands and feet of our ministry. They have a profound impact
on their student's lives on a daily basis. They are the front lines of our ministry. Small Group Leaders lead a group of high
school students in discussion and accountability, contact students each week, and build relationships with them. Covenant Members only.
Time Required: 5+ hours per week, every Sunday from 6:15 - 7:15 PM, and availability with students throughout the week.
Group Coach
Position Description: Mentors group leaders and contacts them on a bi-monthly basis. Covenant Members only.
Time Required: 2+ hours per week to meet with leaders. Committment for this position is at least one year.
FIREHOUSE BAND LEADERSHIP
Stage Tech
Position Description: Assists in set up and break down of the stage for worship services.
Time Required: 6+ hours per week, on Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM, and Sundays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Commitment for this position is at least one year.
Sound Tech
 Position Description: Assists in managing the sound boards for worship services.
Time Required: 6+ hours per week, Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8:30 PM, and Sundays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Committment for this position is at least one year.
Band Manager
Position Description: Coordinates the practice schedules and set lists for Firehouse worship services and provides communication among team members.
Time Required: 6+ hours per week, Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8:30 PM, and Sundays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Committment for this position is at least one year.
FIREHOUSE TRAVEL BAND LEADERSHIP
Road Team
Position Description: Assists in set up
and break down of stage and sound equipment for outreach
concerts. Loads and unloads equipment and manages the
band's trailer.
Time Required: Will vary based on outreach opportunities, but are estimated at one concert per month, requiring about 5 hours.
Commitment for this position is at least one year. Sundays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM, as scheduled.
Road Tech
Position Description: Assists in managing the sound boards for outreach concerts, as well as setting up systems.
Time Required: Sundays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Time requirements will vary based on outreach opportunities, but are
estimated at one concert per month, requiring about 5 hours. Committment for this position is at least one year.
Road Manager
Position Description: Coordinates the practice schedules,
concert venues, permits, scheduling and set lists for the Firehouse band
for outreach concerts, and provides communication among team members.
Time Required: Sundays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM,
as scheduled. Time requirements will vary based on outreach opportunities, but are
estimated at one concert per month, requiring about 5 hours. Committment for this position is at least one year.
